Good morning to you all and welcome to the latest Pootles Birthday Blog Hop for September
For those of you who don’t know who Pootles is, she is my Stampin’ Up! Upline and goes by her real name of Sam Hammond Donald.
Every month she invites her team to take part in a Birthday Blog Hop and you don’t have to have your birthday in the particular month, which means you can join anytime.
I have been playing around with one of my latest Stamp Sets called ‘Painted Harvest’
Trying out different colour ways as it is a two step set.
So this is my make for September using the above set and I have someone in mind to receive it.
One of the colours I worked with earlier today was this combination.
Using Melon Mambo Cardstock which measures 5.5″ x 4.25″ I stamped onto a piece of Whisper White cut slightly smaller to give a tiny border.
The Stamp Set is Painted Harvest and you are going to love it or not as the case may be. I know a few Demonstrators that don’t like the effect if gives.
Onto the Whisper White card I stamped a subtle background using the Post Script Set in Basic Grey.
For my flowers, which as I have said above are a two set stamp, the base flower is stamped in Pink Piroutte and Melon Mambo on top using the smaller stamp.
I have used a sentiment from Butterfly Basics Set, stamped in Basic Grey on Pink Piroutte card and then it was punched out using the brand new Punch called Everyday Label.
A few Rhinestones are added the the sentiment label for interest and sparkle.
This particular punch is from the new Seasonal Catalogue and works alongside the stamp set called Merry Little Labels. I will be ordering the stamp set next month as it is perfect for those Christmas Tags you use for you parcels.
If you would like a copy of the catalogue, please contact me and I will get one in the post to you.
