Simply Sketched Challenge

Good morning to you all and a warm welcome to the latest

Simply Sketched Saturday Challenge.

I missed out taking part in the last one run by the lovely Sam Roberts so I was determind to take part in this one.

We have a super sketch this time provided by Jillian Selwood

I don’t know if you like sketches but for me they encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and give inspiration when you can’t think of what to make.

So this is my take on Jillian’s Sketch and it doesn’t have to be purple 🙂 I will give you a small clue about Jillian, she loves anything purple, hence her blog name. 🙂

I started by cutting a sheet of Powder Pink 12 x 12 Card Stock in half, scored in half at 6 x 6 to give me a blank 6 x 6 Card.

To this I added the gorgeous DSP from the Fresh Florals range in Fresh Fig to contrast. This was cut at 5.5 x 5.5.

For the main sketch and following the challenge theme, I cut out using the Stitched Shaped Framelits using Powder Pink card stock.

On the largest square I stamped using Stampin’ Write markers in shades of Pear Pizzazz and Flirty Flamingo. Flirty Flamingo has also been used on the other two squares.

The squares have been stamped using Background Bits Stamp Set and the sentiment is from Label Me Pretty Set along the the Pretty Label Punch.

I hope you like my take on the theme and a big thank you to Jillian for designing my Watermark.

Do take time to join all the other people sharing their work for this challenge by use the following links to see what my fellow ‘hoppers’ have made

Happy crafting
