Good morning to you all and thanks for taking part in our 1st ever Blog Challenge over at
We have chosen the winner for this challenge which went ‘live’ on 4th July.
Pop over to see if you are the lucky winner and see if you have been invited to be our Guest Designer for Challenge No 3
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge and it will run for 2 weeks so you have lots of time to join in. We have chosen the letter ‘S’ as you can see on the picture below
Here my is my contribution as part of the Design Team and I hope you like my interpretation.
I chose to use a now retired set called ‘Summer Silhouettes’.
If you follow Joy of Sets on Facebook you will know that the group was set up for people to share the creations using New or Retired Stamp Sets from Stampin’ Up!
This is a favourite set of mine as it is versatile and can be combined with other sets.
My card base is Old Olive to which I attached a smaller piece of DSP from the Succulent Garden Collection.
A piece of Sahara Sand Ribbon has been added down the side and taped under the DSP.
My main image is stamped using Calypso Coral and Old Olive Ink onto Calypso Coral card, cut out using the Stitched Oval Framelits. A few small flowers and Rhinestone Pearls were added.
For the sentiment I used Sahara Sand card stock punched using the now retired Scallop Oval. it is from the ‘So in Love’ set, keeping in with the letter ‘S’
I hope you like my design and look forward to seeing and commenting on your entries over the next 2 weeks.
Remember if you are chosen by the Design Team as our winner you will be invited to be a Guest Designer, plus you also get to display the winners badge on your Blog.
