Pootler’s Design Team Challenge Week 1

Good morning,
A warm welcome to Week 1 of my Pootler’s Design Team Posts.
Myself along with 4 other lovely ladies were gifted the beautiful Stamp Set called
BUTTERFLY BASICS
I admit to being a little apprehensive of being part of the Design Team but once I received this Stamp my doubts disappeared.
People who know me well, know that my love is anything Butterfly related, so I am very happy to have received this set.
I knew straight away what I was going to showcase and also the colour choices.
This is the Die I chose for my base and is a favourite style of mine
My base colour is Very Vanilla with toning Sahara Sand Card.
I chose Very Vanilla to stamp onto using several of the stamps from the above set.
Keeping in with the tones,  my stamping was done using Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz, Always Artichoke and Sahara Sand.
For my two side panels I added Lace from my supplies along with matching Lace along the bottom to which I attached a strip of Pearls.
Butterflies where added using the Bitty Butterfly Punch with Pearls for the bodies along with the matching Thinlit for the the main Butterfly.
If you have the chance to be chosen for the Design Team, don’t hesitate. It is an amazing opportunity to showcase you work.
I hope you like my design
I have thoroughly enjoyed making this for week 1 so hope you will check back to see my ideas for the next 3 weeks.
Have a lovely day
Love and hugs
Christine

  1. What is the name of this die, I've not seen it before. I know it's not Stampin Up, but I'm just curious- thanks for your info! This is a beautiful card, thanks for sharing, and congrats for making the design team! Keep up the great work!

  2. It is a Die that came Free with a crafting magazine I bought quite a while ago. Not sure which one as I buy them if something attracts me.

  5. Thank you Pat, it is always worth looking out for the crafting magazines. I don't always buy them, only when I see something I like and think will be useful. xx
